Maple Candied Bacon Recipe
Take your bacon up a delicious notch (as if it can get any better!) with this recipe for Maple Candied Bacon.
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp kosher salt
¾ pound slice good quality bacon
1) Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and top with a wire rack. Coat the rack with non-stick cooking spray.
2) 2) In a large bowl, combine syrup, brown sugar, Dijon and salt. Add bacon and toss gently, evenly coating all slices. Place bacon on prepared rack in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until slightly dark and crispy. Let cool 5 minutes on rack and then transfer to dish.
Makes 10-12 slices
